PepsiCo is expanding its That’s Nuts range with two new offerings inspired by distinctive crisp flavours, Walkers Prawn Cocktail and Monster Munch Pickled Onion.  Available in stores from June, the additions will offer shoppers a playful twist on two much loved flavours, helping drive excitement and trial within the nuts category.

Available in 160g sharing packs, the new additions offer shoppers even more fun flavour variety for afternoon snacking and at-home social occasions. The launch comes as demand for bold, shareable snacks continues to grow[1], with flavoured nuts presenting a significant opportunity within the wider crisps, snacks and nuts segment.

Worth more than £600m in retail sales value[2], the flavoured nuts category continues to attract shoppers looking for more exciting snacking options. While nuts can still be perceived as functional and flavourless, PepsiCo aims to challenge this with the new That’s Nuts range – born to disrupt and excite the Nuts category by offering some of the nation’s most-loved crisps flavours on a nut. The current range includes top flavours such as Doritos Chilli Heatwave, Walkers Salt & Vinegar and Smoky Bacon, Wotsits Really Cheesy and Walkers Max Paprika, and now, two new flavours: Walkers Prawn Cocktail and Monster Munch Pickled Onion.

From crisp buyers and loyal brand fans to regular nuts purchasers and new shoppers, these additional flavours will aim to appeal to a broader range of consumers to drive greater expansion and sales.

PepsiCo’s new Walkers Prawn Cocktail and Monster Munch Pickled Onion That’s Nuts flavours began rolling out on shelves across grocery, discounters and online from the 1st of June. Joining the brand’s existing range, the new 160g packs have an RRP of £2.75. The launch is supported by bold in-store activations across the grocery channel and will form part of PepsiCo’s festive campaign later in the year.
