Kite Packaging has strengthened its ISO certifications by moving to a UKAS-accredited certification body and adding ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.

Kite is now certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 through the British Assessment Bureau, part of the Amtivo Group. The project was completed one month ahead of schedule.

The move gives customers added confidence that Kite’s approach to quality, environmental responsibility, and workplace safety has been independently assessed against recognised standards.

Three important areas of certification

Kite’s certifications now cover:

ISO 9001 – Quality Management: Supporting consistent service, reliable processes, and continual improvement.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management: Helping Kite manage its environmental responsibilities and improve performance.

ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management: Supporting safe working practices and the effective management of workplace risks.

The addition of ISO 45001 formally recognises Kite’s commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees, visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders.

UKAS is the United Kingdom’s National Accreditation Body. It assesses certification bodies to ensure they work to recognised standards.
