Jake and Nayns’ has undergone a complete overhaul of its packaging offering consumers a brighter, fresher look and an opportunity to see the quality of the product, through a unique window, at point of purchase. The new packaging has been well received by retailers with the brand enjoying a sharp increase in listings across the UK.

The updated packaging has many new features including a change in colour moving from dark hues to a stark white allowing for the product to have more standout on-shelf.

The brands research revealed that consumers like to see the quality of the product before purchasing, so Jake & Nayns’ have included a plastic window on each of their packs to answer this consumer demand.

A new hashtag is also present on the outer packaging, ‘#eatstreet’. The hashtag firmly establishes Jake and Nayns’ positioning on the food-to-go market, offering an alternative to the standard options with innovative creations derived from authentic street food.

The brand has seen their listings at Sainsbury’s increase and has won several new accounts with Spar and Londis now stocking the curry filled naans. In addition MRH Forecourts has also put the product into over 380 forecourts across the country. Naansters will also be launching into 475 Co-op stores from mid-October.

Jake Karia, managing director at Jake & Nayns’ comments “Our new packaging is now more reflective of our brand personality and enables the consumer to easily see the quality of our product. The new listings are a testament to the strong credentials of our product with retailers looking for a healthier, better quality – in taste and ingredients – on-the-go snack.”

A key demographic for Jake and Nayns’ is students, who regularly purchase food on the go.
