• With less than a week until Eid, new Asda research reveals that 90% of British Muslims believe that the cost-of-living crisis will impact Eid celebrations
  • Asda is offering market leading deals on trusted brands and promotions designed to help British Muslims get celebration ready, without breaking the bank

As the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, Eid celebrations will be taking place across the country next week with families, friends and communities coming together to commemorate.

However, as the cost of living continues to impact families across the nation, half of British Muslims (50%) say they will spend less on food during Eid because of costs and more than a third (34%) say they will have to cut back on Eid gifts as a result.

1 in 10 (11%) even say they won’t be able to host friends, family, and members of the community due to the concerns around cost and more than 1 in 10 (14%) say they won’t be able to give us much to charity as they would like which is a big part of Ramadan and Eid.

To combat this, Asda is helping customers save time and money with its one-stop shop offering, meaning shoppers can find everything they need, at amazing value, in just one shop.
