This winter Lemsip is introducing two new products to its successful Lemsip cough range.


The new range will be supported by a 360° promotional campaign that will break in November 2014, for the start of the winter period. There will also be a completely new TV advertisement for this campaign, bringing to life the efficacy of the Lemsip Cough remedies.

In addition a new Lemsip Max advertising and promotional campaign will break in October 2014 focusing on the key benefits of the popular Lemsip All in One range which starts to get to work in just five minutes*. The All in One formula acts on the five major symptoms of Cold and Flu:

•    Headache

•    Fever

•    Body Aches & Pains

•    Blocked Nose

•    Sore Throat

Running from October 2014 to March 2015 the campaign will involve TV, digital, social media and instore activity, as well as consumer PR to raise further awareness of the brand; remind consumers why Lemsip continues to be a firm favourite each winter; and drive sales.

Together, these two campaigns mean that retailers can be confident of high brand profile for Lemsip throughout the winter.


2 x New Lemsip Cough Products

Following the successful launch of the Lemsip Cough range in September 2012, Lemsip, the No 1 cold and flu brand, has invested further in its innovation programme to introduce two new products to the Cough range for Winter 2014:

• Lemsip Mucus Cough Sugar and Colour Free, a mucus cough liquid which is both sugar and colour free.

• Lemsip Cough Max for Chesty Cough & Cold Powder for Oral Solution, a hot drink solution for chesty cough relief

The Lemsip Cough range has been further developed to meet shopper cough needs and increase category value by bringing in new customers to the Cough sector through a variety of new formats.

New Lemsip Mucus Cough Liquid Sugar and Colour Free

Whilst there has been a growth in the number of variants available ‘colour-free’, there have been limited sugar-free options. Lemsip Mucus Cough Liquid Sugar and Colour Free taps into the growing trend in health awareness and meets the needs of more health conscious cough sufferers who are turned off by the sugar content. The new product provides Lemsip’s powerful relief for Mucus Cough and comes in a non-drowsy formulation which is both sugar and colour free.

New Lemsip Cough Max for Chesty Cough & Cold Powder for Oral Solution

Traditional cough liquids are in glass bottles so they are not particularly portable or convenient. Lemsip Cough Max Chesty Cough hot drink provides effective relief of cold and chesty cough symptoms. Unlike traditional cough syrups it not only breaks down mucus but also eases aches and pains. Building on the much loved Lemsip heritage of a warming, soothing hot drink, the Lemsip Chesty Cough drink contains paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride, & guaifenesin to relieve cough and cold symptoms at the same time.
