The line-up of expert discussion panellists for D&I in Grocery LIVE! – the largest diversity and inclusion (D&I) event in the grocery sector – has been unveiled.

Renowned journalist Clive Myrie will kick off an expert panel discussion titled ‘Pathways to Progress: How to leverage D&I to future-proof our industry’ exploring how inclusive practices can help multigenerational workforces futureproof the grocery industry.

Responsible for setting the people strategy and plans at Tesco Chief People Officer, Emma Taylor, brings over 20 years of grocery experience to the debate.  Emma will be joined on the panel by Zahoor Ahmad, Head of Social Mobility, Inclusion and Belonging at Co-op, Ian Morley who leads Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Northern Europe Sales Function, and Siwan Smith, Inclusion & Diversity Manager at Princes Group.

For the first time, the event which takes place on 4th October at InterContinental London – The O2, will also include Topic Hacks. Bringing together a broad range of perspectives, skill sets and experiences, these high-energy sessions offer an innovative and collaborative approach to tackling key issues impacting D&I in the grocery sector. Topics will be dissected to find workable realistic solutions and all attendees are invited to get involved.

Daniele Fiandaca, one of the UK’s Top 50 Trailblazers in Gender Equality, and Clare Bocking, a change consultant renowned for accelerating performance through culture and talent, will facilitate the creative problem-solving sessions and encourage new ways of thinking.

Caroline Cater, VP of People and Culture at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners & D&I in Grocery LIVE! Steering Group Chair, comments: “Everybody has a role to play in diversity and inclusion. Boosting engagement throughout the grocery industry will expand perceptions, open opportunities and create more energy. How to achieve this will be the focus of the panel discussion and with an incredible line-up featuring some of grocery’s top inclusion leaders, it promises to be an enlightening and energising debate.”
