Burton’s Biscuit Company is launching a new look Cadbury Christmas Biscuits range for 2016 including NPD for Cadbury Fingers and updates to its bestselling seasonal biscuit assortments.
Launching from 1st September the line-up, which features products catering for all festive occasions including the ever popular gifting tins, sharing assortments and stocking fillers (RRP £1.79 – £5.00), will mark the introduction of Cadbury Snowy Fingers, a brand new SKU from the no.1 special treat brand*1. Available in pack sizes of 115g (RRP £1.29) and 230g (RRP £2.49) Cadbury Snowy Fingers are perfect for sharing during the seasonal period. The product features the Cadbury Fingers iconic shortcake biscuit, now coated in both milk and white chocolate, for a ‘snowy’ look and festive feel.
“Cadbury Snowy Fingers performed extremely well in consumer research*2, with shoppers saying that they felt it was a new and unique concept for Cadbury Fingers,” says David Costello, Head of Category and Shopper Management at Burton’s Biscuit Company.
“With this new launch, the Cadbury Fingers brand is perfectly placed to attract new shoppers to the fixture, drive category growth of seasonal biscuits and in turn help retailers grow sales this Christmas.”
Another new SKU joining the Christmas line-up is the Cadbury Fingers Star assortment. The product features four flavours of Cadbury Fingers all in one pack – Milk, White, Salted Caramel and Snowy Fingers – in a unique starshaped pack perfect for sharing or gifting – available at an RRP of £4.00 (330g).
Burton’s is also introducing a host of other new festive arrivals for 2016, including Cadbury Mini Fingers Stackables – a selection of three ‘stacking tins’ each containing a different flavour of Mini Fingers – featuring milk, and two new flavours honeycomb and double chocolate (330g / RRP £5.00); a Cadbury Fingers milk and white chocolate assortment tin (228g / £3.00), and the iconic Cadbury Biscuit Assortment Tin (340g / RRP £5.00) which has been reinvented to include a modernised front of pack design and shape, newly developed white and dark chocolate biscuits in addition to milk favourites, and the introduction of the popular Crunchie biscuit.
“The Cadbury biscuit tin has been the no.1 fully coated biscuit assortment tin for the last few years*1, with this pack refresh expected to create even more interest among seasonal shoppers,” Costello adds.
