The delicious selection available from 14th March at 1,200 Tesco Supermarkets and Express Stores nationwide includes a wide range of dishes featuring Italian dishes with a twist and Zizzi restaurant favourites

Restaurant brand Zizzi launches its largest at home range exclusively with Tesco based on its popular restaurant dishes.

The Italian restaurant chain has announced a selection of high-quality dishes coming to Tesco Supermarkets and Tesco Express freezers nationwide, providing consumers with a mouth-watering choice of starter, main course and dessert dishes.

Zizzi is introducing a restaurant bestseller starter of Garlic Bread & Cheese (RRP £2.50), a flavour-packed quartet of tasty pastas including Zizzi favourite pasta dish Casareccia Pollo Piccante (RRP £3.50), family favourite Lasagne Bolognese (RRP: £3.50), a twist on the classic  Chorizo Carbonara and Rigatoni Chicken Della Casa (RRP: £3.50) for the restaurant experience at home.

The core range includes a trio of 12-inch-long pizzas, with a 24-hour leavened dough base, hand-stretched and hand-topped to maintain their homemade rustic appeal, and all served with a mini oil bottle (basil or chilli) to customise once baked and further provide the Zizzi experience. The pizzas include best-selling Rustica Ham & Mushroom (RRP: £3.75 / £4.00 (Express stores), all-time favourite Rustica Margherita Classic (RRP: £3.75 / £4.00 (Express stores) and the spicy Zizzi favourite  Rustica Piccante Pepperoni (RRP: £3.75/ £4.00 Express stores).

For those with a sweet tooth, the range includes a duo of delicious desserts featuring Zizzi’s top-selling dessert, the Salted Caramel Brownie (RRP: £3.00) and a fresh and fruity Raspberry & Lemon Cheesecake (RRP: £3.50).

In addition to the 10 dishes announced today, Zizzi will be expanding the range in May with three vegan, plant-based dishes – Vegan Jackfruit Pepperoni PizzaVegan Rainbow Lasagne and Vegan Praline Brownie.

Research from the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) revealed the frozen food category has continued to outperform the overall grocery market, increasing by 14.4% in value and 11.5% in volume** The frozen category has also outperformed the fresh and chilled category in value growth – with sales equating to £7bn***
