WW, Weight Watchers reimagined, has come together with Greencore and Morrisons to produce a ‘Meals in Minutes’ food box.
Available online on Morrisons Food Boxes section, the box contains eight WW chilled ready meals (two portions of four varieties), along with two packs of Morrisons pre-cut vegetables and a free 24-page WW Meal Planner Pad.
Designed to remove the hassle of planning a healthy week, the meals are nutritionally balanced and ready to enjoy in minutes.
All the meals have under 400 calories and are low in fat and sugar. Each meal displays the WW SmartPoints values to help members stay on track with their weight goals and wellness journeys. The products all come in recyclable packaging and are also suitable for home freezing, so that shoppers can have some for now and some for later.
Brenda McNulty, Head of Commercial at WW, commented: “We know people want convenience and simplicity to help them stay healthy whilst leading busy lives. WW’s range of chilled ready meals will appeal to anyone who finds it hard to make time to scratch cook healthy nutritious meals.
“During lockdown, we saw a 54% increase in the at-home lunch occasion*, and with the rise in flexible working, this new norm may be here to stay. We know that our ready meals can be helpful for both lunch and dinner occasions, and so we believe this food box will take the hassle out of more meal times.
“We’re always looking for new ways to distribute our products and while this is the first time we’ve worked on a specific bundle box for this category, we hope to inspire all retailers to work with WW to help drive volume in the chilled ready meals category as well as develop their broader health and wellness categories,” McNulty concluded.
The boxes cost £26 with delivery included. Each box contains:
