Two customer-favourite gins now available in can format in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons & Amazon
Halewood Artisanal Spirits has expanded its UK portfolio with the launch of two premium ready-to-drink (RTD) products from its Whitley Neill gin brand. Two flavours are available – Rhubarb & Ginger Gin with Ginger Ale, and Yuzu & White Strawberry Gin with Lemonade – marking the brand’s first move into RTDs.
Both flavours are available as single 250ml cans (RRP £3.25) and 12-can multipacks for trade. Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger gin with Ginger Ale is stocked at circa 130 Sainsbury’s stores across the UK, while both flavours can be found at Morrisons, Amazon and The Drop Store, with on-trade listings to follow imminently. At 8.3% ABV, compared to the typical 5% ABV of many RTD gins, each 250ml can delivers a double shot (50ml) of Whitley Neill gin.
The Japanese Yuzu and White Strawberry gin variation offers a bright, aromatic yuzu citrus taste, leading into a delicate white strawberry sweetness, with a clean and refreshing finish. The Rhubarb & Ginger gin variation delivers tangy rhubarb and warming ginger spice, coming together in a crisp, refreshing ginger ale finish.
RTDs are one of the few alcohol categories in growth (IWSR data*), with consumers drinking not only more frequently but also widening their purchase channels and occasions. In the UK, 41% of consumers now shop in the RTD category, making it one of the most exciting and accessible spaces in the UK drinks industry (Attest**).

The Whitley Neill RTDs join an existing range of Whitley Neill gins, including consumer favourites such as Distiller’s Cut London Dry Gin, Rhubarb & Ginger, Blood Orange and Raspberry. The range also includes three alcohol-free expressions – Japanese Yuzu & White Strawberry, Raspberry, and Rhubarb & Ginger.
