Walkers Monster Munch is going GIANT this February. Marking the brand’s first NPD launch in almost 10 years, each ‘claw’ is 30% bigger than regular Monster Munch, offering even more of the delicious Monster Munch flavour in every bite.

The launch follows the introduction of the hugely successful Wotsits Giants last August – the biggest snacks launch of 2020[1], which contributed to the overall Wotsits brand growing +56% last year[2]. “We anticipate similar if not greater success for the launch of Monster Munch Giants,” explains Will Robinson, Portfolio Lead for Walkers Snacks at PepsiCo.

Monster Munch Giants will launch first in Tesco and Sainsbury’s, before a wider roll out into grocery and convenience stores later in the year. They will be available in the traditional much-loved Pickled Onion and Roast Beef flavours, in a sharing bag format (85g) – the ideal format for the whole family to enjoy.

“Sharing bags have really boomed in popularity this past year; they’re now the biggest and fastest growing format in the crisps and snacks category[3],” Robinson continues. “Off the back of the tremendous shopper response to the launch of Wotsits Giants last year, we thought – well, why stop there? The supersized Monster Munch flavours are sure to be a great success with families across the nation. We certainly expect them to drive a momentous stir amongst our loyal Monster Munch fans.”

Monster Munch Giants will be available in Tesco from 14th February, followed by Sainsbury’s in a couple of weeks’ time. They will then be available nationally to all other stores from May. The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign spanning TV, digital and in-store media.
