English Provender Company (EPC) has unveiled ‘Chilli Boost’ – a new addition to its flagship ‘Very Lazy’ range, in line with increasing demand for fusion flavours and chilli-based products.
Adopting a ‘Spoon it, Spread it, Stir it’ message, the new range will consist of three different Chilli Boost products offering different flavour profiles and levels of heat to meet consumer preference, these are: Zesty (mild), Smokey (medium) and Zingy (hot).
Designed to meet growing interest in chilli-based flavours, the Boost range boasts great versatility. Each jar can be used as a cooking oil, drizzle, dip or as a stir through to add warmth and flavour to dishes with minimal effort.
Category sales for chilli sauces in the UK continue to skyrocket and EPC is confident Chilli Boost is arriving at the right time to satiate the needs of our fascination with spicier foods and international flavours.
Freddie Billington – Brand Manager for Very Lazy said: “This is an exciting addition to our already popular Very Lazy range, as well as to the category. The versatile Boost range provides the consumer with an easy way to customise the heat levels of their meals and add great flavour!”
Chilli Boost will launch with a listing in 598 Tesco stores this month. EPC, which is part of The Billington Group, also produces a large selection of sauces, mayonnaises, chutneys, drizzles and dips.
