Toyota Material Handling UK will be bringing their fleet management service Toyota I_Site to life at IMHX2013 with exclusive interactive demonstrations.

As part of Toyota Material Handling’s objective to make IMHX 2013 ‘a space to do business’, Toyota will provide a demonstration for visitors to explore viable solutions to their material handling needs. To support this focus, Toyota will provide a touch-screen demonstration of the Toyota I_Site information system, providing visitors with a hands view of system and what it has to offer.

Toyota I_Site is a unique combination of technology, information, expertise and support that helps customers manage their materials handling fleet every single day. Toyota I_Site is built around detailed reporting of truck activity and cost data, supported by advice from Toyota I_Site experts. This  enables companies to substantially drive down costs and improve the efficiency of their operations.

The interactive touchscreen demonstration exclusively available on the Toyota stand will be supported by Toyota’s dedicated Toyota I_Site fleet management specialists who can tailor the demonstration to match the visitor’s operational environment and key requirements from a fleet management solution.

On stand visitors can work with the Toyota specialist to understand how this can help their operation and  understand some of the key features of Toyota I-Site including: machine access and activity, driver activity, machine shock sensors, machine lockout, battery info, service database and data collecting – all accessible from a dedicated Toyota I-Site web portal.

As part of some Toyota I_Site contracts, Toyota can provide a dedicated Toyota I_Site specialist who can offer a broad range of assistance including the provision of  operator training for drivers to improve driving behaviour and reduce damage, to adapting critical points in the work flow to improve efficiency, and even changing the fleet by increasing or reducing the number of trucks.

With Toyota I_Site, businesses can identify and address operational issues on a daily basis, while also looking at broader issues – such as fleet optimisation – from a more long-term, strategic point of view.

Phill Bird, After Sales Director Toyota Material Handling UK comments: “By allowing visitors to see a virtual helicopter view of a typical materials handling operation and using the capabilities of Toyota I_Site to record driver, truck and service data, coupled with the inclusion of a dedicated Toyota I_Site Specialist to analyse, support and provide practical advice as an integral part of Toyota I_Site, it’s clear to see how the product could work in a real life situation to significantly drive down costs for any fleet size operator.”

Bird adds: “Our entire approach to fleet management is based on an intelligent partnership to help you to optimise your materials handling operation. It involves much more than simply providing you with some hardware and some data and leaving you to find the answers on your own.”

Experience the Toyota I_Site interactive demonstration at the Toyota stand 20F70 at IMHX 19-22 March, NEC Birmingham.
