British plant-based food start-up, The Meatless Farm Co, has appointed Robert Woodall to the role of CEO. Woodall’s role will be to continue driving growth in the UK and globally after The Meatless Farm Co’s successful launch in Sainsbury’s in October 2018.

Woodall, former Vice President & General Manager EMEA for Snacks at Kellogg Company, brings significant international food experience. He has worked on global brands including Pringles, McVitie’s and the Kellogg’s portfolio. He spent 5 years as Kellogg’s Managing Director in China, leading the launch of Kellogg’s into the Chinese market.

Alongside his appointment, the wider team has also been boosted with 5 new commercial appointments. This is in preparation for raising Series B funding in 2019, which will accelerate international expansion.
