The Hildon Foundation, a charity funded directly by Hildon Limited, the makers of Hildon Natural Mineral Water, and private donors, has launched two initiatives to support frontline workers fighting against Covid-19.

The Hildon team have created Frontline Meals, in partnership with various restaurant groups, including D&D London, M Restaurants and Gaucho. Hildon have pledged funding to its dedicated restaurant partners to supply 38,000 meals to workers on the frontline.

The second initiative launched by Hildon is the weekly donations of its natural mineral water to a number of local and London hospitals. Hildon has promised 350,000 bottles to hospitals including Hampshire County Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, University Hospital Southampton, Salisbury District Hospital, Andover War Memorial Hospital, and an array of London Hospitals.

Debbie Jones, Executive Director at Hildon and Managing Trustee of The Hildon Foundation, commented: “The whole team at Hildon are very proud to be doing our bit and providing support to Frontline workers during this time of such great uncertainty. We’re delighted that the Frontline Meals initiative has been supported so well by a number of our restaurant partners – without them this commitment wouldn’t be possible.”

Since its creation in 2000, The Hildon Foundation has grown to support a wide scope of local charitable and good causes close to its Test Valley, Hampshire home.

Part of an extended global effort, the Frontline Meals initiative has also recently rolled out to New York and Washington D.C. Hildon and D&D London have delivered over 1,000 meals this week to healthcare workers in New York, in partnership with World Central Kitchen.
