HEALTHY meals challenger, The Gym Kitchen, is stretching into yet another category, landing a NEW range of high protein pancakes across Tesco and Sainsbury’s this month.
The Gym Kitchen is set to supercharge breakfast and all-day-snacking occasions as it continues to blaze a trail in the high-protein, functional food space, with its new two-strong high protein pancake range, hitting Tesco stores w/c 2nd September and Sainsbury’s w/c 23rd September.
Enriched with wheat and pea protein, variants include Maple, with 26g protein per 200g pack and Banana, packing in 24g per pack. The range is set to target active healthy lifestylers, looking for a nutritious start or wholesome boost throughout the day.
Innovation across multiple categories is key to The Gym Kitchen growth strategy. Since launching in 2020, the brand has stretched beyond its core chilled meals offer into frozen ready meals, pizzas, ambient pulse and grains, yogurts and desserts, Food-To-Go and more recently instant noodle pots.
Commenting on the launch, The Gym Kitchen Founder, Segun Akinwoleola, said: “Expanding into functional breakfast and all-day snacking is a natural stretch for the brand and our consumers have been asking for us to launch a pancake range for a while, so we are delighted to share this offer with them.
“Bringing nutritious, convenient food solutions that deliver on taste sits at the heart of everything we do at The Gym Kitchen. We’re on a mission to expand our offer to a broader target audience of health-focused foodies, catering for different meal occasions.”
