HEALTHY meals challenger, The Gym Kitchen, is expanding its high-protein meals offer into the instant noodles fixture, with a two-strong line-up landing in Asda in June.

The Gym Kitchen is continuing to disrupt the high-protein, functional food space with a NEW range of instant noodle pots hitting Asda stores this week, with further listings in Tesco to follow in July.

The range, which includes main-stream Curry and Chicken & Mushroom variants, packs a powerful punch of protein, with each cooked pot providing at least 23g and a maximum of 288kcal. Catering for busy, active life-stylers, The Gym Kitchen High-Protein Instant Noodle Pots are ready to eat in under five minutes.

The launch follows a phenomenal 18 months for The Gym Kitchen, venturing into multiple categories, including frozen ready meals, pizzas, ambient pulse and grains, yogurts and desserts and more recently Food-To-Go.

Innovation across multiple categories is a major part of the brand’s growth strategy, bringing a broader target of healthy foodies into The Gym Kitchen offer across different meal occasions.

The brand also hit national TV screens in January, with a £100,000 national campaign, after being selected as a beneficiary of Channel 4’s Black in Business Initiative.

Commenting on the launch, Founder, Segun Akinwoleola, said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our High-Protein Instant Noodle Pots to join our ever-growing line up of game-changing NPD here at The Gym Kitchen.

“In a world where convenience often comes with a downfall in nutrition, our new noodle pots fill a crucial gap in the market and we’re here to shake up the category.

“We recognise the importance of providing our loyal customers with a convenient meal option that doesn’t compromise on quality or taste.”
