British brand The Groovy Food Company (www.groovyfood.co.uk), has launched a duo of Hot Agave Nectars in two delicious flavours Hot and Chipotle, expanding its line of plant-based, healthy alternatives to everyday essentials. Both products are available in 250ml bottles, RRP £3.25 at Ocado.
In an age when consumers are increasingly being driven towards healthier lifestyles, the agave nectar market is expected to grow to $0.36 billion by 2027 globally, having already seen significant growth in recent years[i]. The delicious new vegan products are fat free, contain no artificial flavourings, and are nutritious alternatives to other toppers or sauces, as well as being Kosher certified. Harvested and produced in Mexico, the delicious new sauces are made from the world-renowned tequila producing Blue Weber agave plant, combined with a hit of chilli and smoke for real depth of flavour.
Expanding on The Groovy Food Company’s existing range of best-selling Agave Nectars such as the Maple Flavour Agave Nectar and Honey Flavour Agave Nectar, the hot range is also highly versatile, making ideal and delicious toppings for pizza, salads, and traybakes of veg, meat or fish. Containing just 13 calories per teaspoon, Agave Nectar is also sweeter than sugar, which means consumers need less to achieve the same flavour.
