New for 2012 – Thatchers Rosé is being launched in a 500ml single serve bottle for the first time. Its new label design brings Thatchers Rosé firmly into the Somerset cider maker’s premium heritage cider family, alongside Katy and Thatchers 2011 Vintage.

Stylish, premium and delicate, Thatchers Rosé is uniquely refreshing, blended and blushed from the rosiest Katy apples. At 5.4%, this sparkling and medium Somerset cider has become a firm favourite for summer drinking.

Martin Thatcher, managing director and fourth generation cider maker says, “500ml single serve bottles drive the premium market, so it is a logical move to introduce this alongside the existing 75cl bottle.

“We’ve taken the opportunity to focus on the unique aspect of this cider – Rosé. The new label has great shelf appeal, and strengthens the family identity for all our three premium heritage ciders.

“We know our customers really appreciate the heritage behind the Thatchers brand – great tasting cider with expertise that goes back over generations.”

Thatchers Rosé takes its blush colour from the rosy apples it’s crafted from. Using knowledge and experience passed down over four generations of the Thatcher family on Myrtle Farm, Thatchers Rosé has the delicious taste of a premium quality cider you would expect from Thatchers.

The brand will benefit from this year’s above the line activity – a continuation of the firm’s People Who Care About Cider campaign – which will commence early April.

Thatchers Cider has been crafting premium cider from English apples at its Somerset mill since 1904. Thatchers has over 360 acres of its own orchards in Somerset producing the finest cider sought after by drinkers across the whole country.
