Tesco has revealed its new range of decadent desserts and festive puddings ahead of Christmas. Looking almost too good to eat, the new Christmas centerpieces range include familiar seasonal flavours and delicious new creations that are inspired by the latest trends. With prices starting at £1.15, there’s something to bring joy to everyone around the table this Christmas.  

New for 2022 

The new Tesco Finest Caramel Cascade Pudding (£12.00) is an eye-catching centrepiece, with flavours that are just as crowd-pleasing as its design. The crown-shaped chocolate and blonde sponge comes bronze lustre honeycomb pieces with chocolate and caramel sauce to pour all over to create a beautiful cascading effect, and bring some drama to the table.

Also new this year, the Tesco Finest Blonde Chocolate Christmas Present Torte Bar (£11.00) sandwiches a baked caramel and white chocolate cheesecake between a light chocolate sponge. The bar is then topped with chocolate ganache and dusted with bronze shortcake balls and festive chocolate decorations in the shape of presents.

For a truly spectacular dessert, the new Tesco Finest Chocolate Winter Village Cake is perfect for treating loved ones. This rich chocolate cake portrays a beautiful Christmas scene and is carefully topped with edible decorations to show a magical winter village that is sure to delight both young and old.

Decadent dessert lovers will be wowed by the Tesco Finest Salted Caramel & Chocolate Millionaire Choux Wreath (£6.50), laced with a milk chocolate drizzle and filled with soft, millionaire shortbread flavoured cream. The salted caramel guarantees a modern twist on traditional flavours and it is a great affordable option for feeding the family or a group of friends, working out as just 81p per head for a group of six.

For cheesecake fans, the Tesco Finest Berry and White Chocolate Cheesecake (£3.75) is a delight. This delicious dessert consists of creamy Belgian white chocolate cheesecake on a classic crunchy biscuit base. It is topped with tangy blackcurrants, sharp redcurrants and sweet raspberries, which blend together perfectly for an intense flavour.

Coffee and Cocktails

Coffee and cocktail lovers alike will revel in the Tesco Finest Espresso Martini Dessert (£9.00). Boasting espresso martini-soaked vanilla sponge, layered with Belgian white chocolate mousse and a white chocolate ganache layer, this treat is finished with coffee-flavoured chocolate beans for a stylish topping to mimic the real thing.

Continuing the trend for cocktail flavours, the Tesco Finest Raspberry and Peach Bellini Trifle (£9.00) is back by popular demand, whilst the new Tesco Finest Passion Fruit Pavlova Wreath (£6.50) is inspired by the flavours of a passion fruit martini. Perfectly light and crunchy, it’s topped with vibrant raspberries and pistachios.

Familiar Favourites 

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without the familiar Tesco Finest Christmas Pudding (£5.00), deep in flavour having been matured for 12 months. Similarly, the Tesco Chocolate Sponge Pudding 1.15) is an affordable and quick-to-cook option, that doesn’t miss out on flavour, and the single serving size makes it a great option for smaller gatherings or catering for different palettes.

Free From and Vegan Showstoppers 

This year’s range also features an impressive selection of new free from desserts, including the Tesco Finest Free From Stem Ginger Tiffin Cracker (£8.00) which is gluten, milk and egg free, along with the moreish Tesco Finest Free From Praline Brownie Slices (£3.00), perfect for chocolate lovers. 

The decadent Tesco Finest Free From Chocolate Yule Log (£5.50) is back by popular demand, so those who need to avoid gluten won’t miss out on the festive favourite.

The Wicked Kitchen range this year offers a range of delicious plant-based alternatives that don’t compromise on flavour, including two brand new products: the Wicked Kitchen, Raspberry & Vanilla Layered Dessert 8.00) and the Wicked Kitchen Outrageous Orange Chocolate Festive Dessert 4.00),which is packed with decadent chocolate mousse and topped with candied orange peel.
