Thinking ahead to those dark wintery nights, Walkers Nonsuch, England’s Finest speciality toffee makers want to remind everyone not to forget to stock up their Treacle Toffee to celebrate Halloween and Bonfire Night. It is a perfect time to party to cheer everyone up and what better way than to share some delicious and moreish treacle toffee around the camp fire!
Walkers have been making their toffee for over 100 years and use real black treacle which gives the toffee a strong true taste reputed to be really good for sore throats throughout the winter months.
Treacle toffee remains an everlasting favourite so Walkers have introduced for 2009 the new Pocket Creamy Toffee Bars.
These new bars are targeted at a younger audience. Emma Walker comments, “Pocket Creamy Toffee Bars were introduced taking in to consideration smaller portions and to sell at an affordable retail price for everyone. (RRP from 30p.) The range includes 6 varieties all with bright and modern wrappers that would liven up any display”.
Alternative treacle toffee packs include the Andy Pack 100g Bars and 150g bags of twist wrapped toffees.
The 100g bars have a new distinctive wrapper in black, white and orange and carry the new Whack, Unwrap, and Enjoy logo. They come in traditional tin trays (10 bars to a tray) and retail from 60p. The bags come in a shelf ready display box containing 12 bags and retail from 99p.
Using whole milk and butter and over 100 years of expertise Walkers’ quality toffee is second to none. There are no artificial colours, preservatives or hydrogenated vegetable oils in this unique recipe.
