Takis® is bringing back one of its most talked-about seasonal launches with Takis® Zombie returning to UK shelves this Halloween. With its signature Habanero Chilli, Cucumber & Lime combination, the limited-edition variant taps into strong consumer demand for intense flavours and retailer appetite for early, high-impact Halloween activation.

Halloween continues to grow as a seasonal event – it is now worth £779m* driven primarily by Gen Z and millennial shoppers who account for 80% of engagement* – and retailers now treat it like a major retail season with spend rising across decorations, costumes, pumpkins and food. Snacks remain a core category, with consumers increasingly seeking out bold flavours and party-ready formats.

With an intense burst of heat, balanced by a crisp cucumber and refreshing lime finish, Takis® Zombie taps directly into these behaviours and consumer research showing 7 in 10 would purchase for TV or movie moments** and two in three shoppers saying it’s unlike anything else on shelf***.

Launching on September 1st with the official pack reveal and POS rollout, the 2026 return will be supported by a full seasonal execution plan including horror movie night partnerships and themed creator content, whilst October will see tactical party sampling, social challenges and spooky secondary displays to maximise peak-season visibility.

In-store theatre will play a major role given that 44% of shoppers say attractive displays make them more likely to buy Halloween products****, so Takis® Zombie will be supported by seasonal bays, FSDUs, clip strips and header cards designed to create standout moments across convenience and grocery.

Available in 55g PMP, 100g and 180g formats, the September 1st launch gives retailers a long run-up to capturing early Halloween spend and driving incremental value across the snacks category.

The Halloween hit is officially back – and ready to rise again.
