Famed for his modern, fusion twists on growing and eating unusual foods (or maybe just using those varieties that were used for food years ago but now are purely used in an ornamental capacity), James is the ideal partner for Suttons’ new and exclusive seed range – ‘Homegrown Revolution’.
This exciting new seed range has been designed by Suttons Seeds and James Wong to challenge conventional thinking when it comes to growing produce at home. The chosen varieties are unusual yet easy to grow even in the UK climate, and includes a selection 30 vegetables, flowers and herbs that are tasty, unusual and beautiful such as; Electric Daisies, Dahlia Yams and Wintergreens.
Following Suttons market research undertaken at this year’s Edible Garden Show, it was found there was a strong demand for unusual edibles. Many visitors to the show were still planning to grow their own potatoes, salads and carrots etc. but they also wanted to challenge their growing abilities and try something slightly more adventurous and exciting!
