Three strong ‘sunshine soup’ range to launch with Ocado
Soupologie, the UK’s leading superfood, vegan and free-from soup brand, today announces the addition of three exciting new Vitamin D soups. Lentil & Kale, Turmeric Noodle Broth and Pea & Leek are all fresh plant based soups enriched with a vegan source of Vitamin D3 and provide at least 50% of the recommended daily intake in one 300g serving. The new range will launch with Ocado on 22 March followed by independents including Planet Organic and Whole Foods from 22 March (RRP: £2.65 / 600g pot).
The new plant based ‘sunshine soups’ not only boast the benefits of the added vitamin D, but true to the brand’s ethos they are vegan, low fat, gluten-free and naturally packed with protein and fibre. As with the rest of the brand’s product portfolio, they have a low calorie content, no added sugar and contribute to your 5 a day.
Amanda Argent, Co-Founder and Head of NPD at Foodologie says “As a brand we pride ourselves in creating healthy meals and soups that taste great. These three new products not only taste amazing but really do take the health benefits to a new level with the added benefits of the Vitamin D. It’s often known as the sunshine vitamin since we make it from exposure to the sun. As we’ve all been stuck indoors for rather a long time now, combined with it having been winter, our exposure to the sun has been more limited than ever. Vitamin D is essential for strong bones as it helps the body use calcium from the diet. We’re really excited to launch this new range and are so grateful to have the support of Ocado to do so, we can’t wait to hear what our customers think”.
Every Soupologie product is uniquely free from the 14 main allergens and has all green front of pack ‘traffic lights’. All soupologie pots are 100% recyclable.
