Shaken Udder is mixing up the milkshake aisle with the launch of two new flavours targeted at the snacking occasion.
Scoff-The-Lot and Raspberry Ripple are made with real ingredients, contain nothing artificial and are HFSS compliant. Landing on grocery shelves from 3rd March, the products tap into the growing demand for familiar dessert flavours with a modern twist.
The last two years has seen caramelised biscuit flavours grow in popularity, with consumers enjoying them in cheesecakes, cereals, and spreads. Raspberry flavours also remain a firm favourite, as shoppers look for classic tastes that remind them of their childhoods. Shaken Udder’s Raspberry Ripple blends real raspberries with milk and tastes just like Raspberry Ripple ice cream, while Scoff-The-Lot has a warming hint of cinnamon with a rich sweetness. With the Flavoured Milk category growing at +16% in unit sales[1], there is a clear opportunity for retailers to appeal to consumer desire for familiar flavours and increase their milkshake sales by stocking Shaken Udder’s latest launches.
Jo Abram, Marketing Director at Shaken Udder said: “We’re a nation of snackers, and 58%[2] of people choose milkshakes as a snack between meals. With shoppers gravitating towards dessert flavours in their snacks, our latest launches will hit the spot for those looking for tasty, familiar favourites.
“By using our expertise in real ingredients, we’ve created two new flavours that focus on taste, yet contain absolutely nothing artificial, so consumers can still enjoy the important vitamins and minerals that milk provides. As the number two milkshake brand[3] in grocery multiples, retailers can be confident that our latest launches will appeal to dessert lovers everywhere.”
The new additions to Shaken Udder’s range come in 330ml and 750ml variants, providing an on the go option for busy consumers and a larger format that is perfect for sharing or as a pre-planned snack.
