The UK’s no. 1 premium milkshake brand*, Shaken Udder, has launched a new White Choc flavour as part of its Protein Range which already includes Chocolate and Strawberry. White Choc will appear on shelves in selected Sainsbury’s stores on 23rd September and is already available in selected Tesco stores.
The shakes contain 20g of protein and are made with top-quality ingredients including Belgian chocolate and real strawberries. They are ambient and don’t require chilled storage, making them an ideal choice for convenience as well as grocery multiples.
Jo Abram, Marketing Director of Shaken Udder, said: “Our protein shakes meet the needs of consumers looking for delicious flavour and real ingredients, with a 20g protein hit. We’re delighted to introduce a new flavour, White Choc, to the range to satisfy the taste buds of chocolate lovers who are also seeking protein”
White chocolate is the 3rd most purchased flavour** in the protein shake category as a whole so the new flavour should prove popular among consumers. Shaken Udder launched the Protein Range in April 2024 after spotting an opportunity to use their expertise in real ingredients to bring an everyday protein milkshake to the market that tastes incredible and contains no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.
A recent food and drink study*** showed that a third of people look for foods which are high in protein and 12% of people have actually changed their diet over the past year to consume more protein. The UK protein market is set to grow by nearly 30% in the next 5 years****.
Shaken Udder celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The brand has seen phenomenal success over the last two decades and is now worth £33.26m with double digit growth of +28.3% year on year*.
