From September this year Araldite® Rapid, the 5 minute version of the famous epoxy adhesive, will be the sole branded epoxy adhesive stocked by Screwfix, available from its catalogue, its online trading arm and from all 419 of its trade counters.
The renewed marketing partnership for the renowned adhesive brand was launched in attention-grabbing style at the Screwfix Live Trade & DIY Show at Farnborough recently where two ‘walking tubes’ represented the famous resin and hardener elements of the product and also the relationship between Screwfix and Araldite®.
The decision to stock all three packs of Araldite® Rapid, in 2 x 15ml tube blister packs, 24ml syringe and 2 x 100ml tubes, offers both tradesmen and serious DIYers a choice of size and applicator to suit a wide range of applications. The 5 minute working time for the product offers an optimum positioning and bonding cycle with handling time achieved in just 20 minutes and full strength after 3 hours.
