Building on their successful Spring TV campaigns in both the UK and Ireland, Rug Doctor returned to TV screens on October 19th with a 4 week burst of nationwide TV advertising coverage. Stockists are being encouraged to increase their supplies now to satisfy the extra demand that will be created in the run up to the Christmas peak.
This heavyweight campaign is running on both ITV2 and ITV3 until mid November. Paul Fildes, Rug Doctor’s Marketing Manager, explained why they have selected these channels, ‘ITV2 continues to go from strength to strength capturing and retaining audiences up to the age of 34 with a mix of talent, celebrity gossip and original drama and remains the biggest non-terrestrial channel in multi-channel homes’.
‘ITV3 meanwhile has moved up the rankings and is now the 2nd most popular channel in multi-channel homes. It engages viewers with its broad appeal, targetting the 35+ audience with programming that complements the ITV1 schedule and includes both quality movies and dramas’. ‘ Combine the two and you hit our target market perfectly,’ says Fildes.
‘The Autumn campaign in Ireland meanwhile is booked on TV3 – providing greater spot frequency for Rug Doctor – plus TV3 runs Coronation Street – need I say more!’ says Fildes. This heavyweight Irish campaign is also running for 4 weeks from Monday19th October.
‘This is clear evidence that – even in the middle of the recession – Rug Doctor is fully committed to ongoing stockist support’. When we say ‘As seen on TV, we mean it,’ commented Mike Holden, Managing Director of Rug Doctor.
