Rug Doctor is back on TV with March 17th seeing the start of a three week heavyweight campaign in support of the brand’s continued product support for their impressive UK retail rental network.
90% of UK households are no more than a 10 minute drive away from a Rug Doctor rental outlet and nine out of ten UK households have fitted carpets.
Rug Doctor’s TV advertising campaign last Autumn prompted massive rental numbers before – and over – the Christmas peak. To stimulate demand in the first quarter of 2010, the brand have announced that they will be back on UK TV again for the Easter ‘Spring Clean’ Peak.
‘Such above the line activity has resulted in fantastic growth in Rug Doctor machine rental demand across the country and this explains why even more new retail partners are eager to come on board’, says Paul Fildes, Rug Doctor’s Marketing Manager.
‘The new heavyweight campaign is now going out on ITV3 All time giving us peak evening spots to capture those potential renters who are out at work during the day. This new advertising strategy represents a significant financial investment for the
brand and shows the confidence we have in Rug Doctor rental numbers further increasing in 2010’, continues Fildes.
ITV2 will continue to be used for their Daytime audience.
Mike Holden, Rug Doctor Managing Director remains upbeat too ‘Rug Doctor rental outlets overall enjoyed year-on-year growth in 2009 with a record number of 400,000 rentals being achieved, proving that, even in this gloomy economic climate, consumers still want to keep their carpets fresh and clean for themselves and their families. All the signs are that this growth will continue in 2010 and beyond.”
The campaign will run from March 17th up to – and including Easter.
