Republic Technologies (UK) Limited has agreed to acquire all of the shares of Zig Zag GB Limited who are the appointed UK and Ireland exclusive distributor for Zig Zag and Job branded papers, filters and roll your own accessories on behalf of Republic Technologies International. This agreement includes the roll your own papers, filters and smoking accessories business of the Manchester based UK Company; it however excludes the tobacco products.
“This is an exciting move for us,” said Managing Director John Catania of Republic Technologies (UK) Limited. “Papers, filters and other smoking accessories are at the heart of Republic’s business and are in synergy with the legendary Zig Zag brand and product range.”
“It is very much business as usual for both customers of Republic Technologies (UK) Limited and Zig Zag (GB) Limited, we will continue to operate separately at this present time” said Mr Catania.
“We are very excited with this move which, we believe, will reinforce the market availability and positioning of our brands in UK and Ireland,” said Santiago Sanchez, Managing Director of Republic Technologies International.
Republic Technologies International own various brands in the rolling papers, filters and smoking accessories category, including Swan in the UK and Ireland.
