New Pink Bubbly style

The world’s best selling German wine brand, Black Tower is launching a new Black Tower Pink Bubbly style at LIWF. Aimed at anyone who wants to enjoy a fun and refreshing fizzy wine, this semi-sparkling wine is characterised by its deliciously fresh and fruity liveliness.

Naturally lower in alcohol with 9.5% abv, Black Tower Pink Bubbly has a stunningly attractive, vibrant rosé colour and meets the growing consumer demand in the sparkling market for lighter styled wines with popular appeal.

The soft sparkling character of Black Tower Pink Bubbly makes it ideal for celebrations, with or without food and for any occasion. The innovative frosted bottle decoration on the top half of the iconic Black Tower bottle adds to the celebratory feel of this fun, easy drinking lighter styled wine.

New Black Tower Chilean Merlot

Black Tower’s easy drinking style is epitomised by its new Chilean Merlot. This highly commercial style will appeal greatly to the brand’s target new drinkers as well as brand loyalists looking for an ultra smooth, full fruit driven merlot style. Produced in the Central Valley, it has typical plum aromas with a minty character. 13% abv.

New Black Tower Moscato

Black Tower Moscato comes from Puglia, one of Italy’s most fertile regions and will be shown for the first time at LIWF. Moscato is the Italian name for Muscat and produces stunning sweet wines. This wonderfully mouth-watering, sweet and vibrant white wine has aromatic aromas of orange marmalade and honeysuckle, with a streak of refreshing lime.

New ‘B’ by Black Tower

LIWF also sees the launch of two new lower alcohol wines: ‘B’ by Black Tower White and ‘B’ by Black Tower Pink. At only 5.5% abv, this range extension sees the brand broaden its appeal even further to capture the growing consumer and on trade demand for lighter styled, lower alcohol wines.

Black Tower’s latest innovations are set to interest trade in many of the brand’s 50 export markets. Comments Nik Schritz, managing director Reh Kendermann GmbH: “Sales of 75cl bottles of Black Tower have increased in all export markets as a result of the new pack design launched in 2010 and the brand’s innovative wine styles. Our goal in five years time is to be at 1.5 million cases worldwide.”

Kendermanns, winner of more awards than any other German wine brand and one of Germany’s most successful German wines has introduced a new classic image to reflect its range of the finest wines. The powerful new brand concept features high quality labels with an elegant and contemporarily minimalist black-and-gold design with the Kendermann family insignia emphasising the brand’s family winery heritage. Grape varieties are colour coded for clear recognition and the long screw cap and uniform bottle shape provide easy opening and handling.

The signatures of Kendermanns’ young generation winemakers, Philipp Maurer and Christian Hirsch now feature on the front labels of the wines they have created, as a further quality endorsement of these outstanding and innovative wine styles.

Research undertaken in England and Germany showed that 90% of respondents selected Kendermanns based on the new label designs. The new labels will feature across the Kendermanns range.
