GT – What’s the most exciting thing about your job?

Seeing a team of people enjoying what they do and getting satisfaction from it. And, of course, it is exciting when customers come back to us with repeat orders!

GT – Who’s inspired you most in your career?

Without doubt, my boss, Loma’s MD, Simon Spencer.

GT – If you were an item in a supermarket, what would you be?

Ice cream… cool and desirable!

GT – If you had to do it all over again, what would you do different?

Absolutely nothing.

GT – What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at work?

Falling on your bum in the middle of a cheese factory with a soaking wet floor! That meeting went great afterwards!

GT – Who or what makes you laugh?

Micky Flanagan, crazy animal videos and my wife has a crazy sense of humour.

GT – Do you have any hidden talents?

Not hidden but I play to a 9 golf handicap, my son is better though.

I also have an FA coaching badge having coached a team for eight years.

GT – Who would be your favourite party guest?

Micky Flanagan, you wouldn’t stop laughing… and Alex Ferguson.

GT – What is the greatest luxury in your life?

Golf, holidays and my wife!

GT – What is your favourite guilty pleasure?

Red wine and nice watches.

GT – Do you have any secret ambitions?

To play St Andrews and Augusta National.

GT – What’s your dream holiday destination?

We love Thailand.

GT – What are your three favourite movies of all time?

Erin Brockovitch, National Lampoon Christmas Vacation and Close Encounters.

GT – What’s your favourite pastime?

Ironically, Golf and watching Manchester United.

GT – If you won the Lottery, what would you do?

Put all my family members on a plane to Disney for an amazing group holiday.

GT – What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into this industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?

Pick a brand you believe in and can be proud to represent… the minute you stop believing in it it’s time to move on.
