Tapping into popular flavours, Quorn, the UK’s No.1 meat free brand[1], has put its own spin on a takeaway classic with a tasty new addition to its frozen Takeaway range. Quorn Salt & Pepper Tenders (RRP £2.85#, serves 2) will be available in Waitrose from 2 March, followed by Asda and Morrisons from 14 April.
The mouthwatering and versatile Quorn Salt & Pepper Chicken Tenders are coated in a classic Chinese five-spice and salt & pepper seasoning making it easy for consumers to whip up a mouthwatering fakeaway dish right in their own kitchen. Each box comes with six pieces that are high in protein, a source of fibre and low in saturated fat, making them perfect for consumers looking for convenient, tasty, and healthier options.
Gill Riley, Consumer Director at Quorn Foods, said: “Having launched in 2021, Quorn’s Takeaway range has gone from strength to strength with over 400,000 consumers buying into the range every year[2]. The range performs incredibly well with both pre-family and family audiences, it’s proven to bring new shoppers into the category, and it also keeps them coming back for more.”
The new product sits within the Frozen Meat Free Meal Centres Category which is worth £94.6m[3] and is the highest penetrated, making it a key recruitment sector for new category consumers.

The Salt & Pepper Tenders join Quorn’s successful Takeaway range which includes Quorn Crunchy Fillet Burger and Quorn Spicy Buffalo Fillets.
April will also see the addition of the brand-new Quorn Cumberland Sausages. The perfect freezer staple, these sausages are high in protein, low in saturated fat, a source of fibre and extremely versatile.
Quorn’s Cumberland Sausages will be available from 14 April in Asda and Morrisons. Their deliciously peppery flavour creates a great base for all family favourites and come at an accessible price point of RRP £2.60# for 336g, offering four servings per bag.
