Schoeller Allibert’s latest plastic returnable transit packaging (RTP) promotion offers customers a free universal dolly and handle when purchasing five full pallets of some of the company’s most popular crate ranges.

Universal-Dolly-with-Kaiman-ALCsIncluded in the promotion is the best selling Maxinest range – a market leader in the food distribution industry which is suitable for harvesting and distribution of most fruit and vegetables, from bulkier items such as cauliflower and cabbages through to apples, pears, salads and herbs. Maxinest trays are also popular for many food processing and distribution applications. As a retail-ready product, they reduce handling times and the ventilated design promotes air circulation helping prolong shelf life.

The Kaiman attached lid container (ALC) was recently redesigned by Schoeller Allibert to be 10 per cent lighter than existing models, reducing fuel costs and improving carbon footprint, and is also part of the promotion. The improved ALCs also include features to ensure trouble-free operation with automated handling equipment, including vertically hanging lids and a tapered base. Finally, the offer includes Schoeller Allibert’s 180° stack-nesters – an innovative range of versatile crates which provide an instant visual cue as to whether the tray is in the stacking or nesting position thanks to their bi-colour design.

Stephanie Carr, National Sales Manager of Schoeller Allibert commented: “The Universal Dolly which customers will receive free of charge with their five pallets of RTP products features sprung pop-ups to secure loads of varying sizes with no manual adjustment, and also benefits from a flip-out extension to carry nested ALCs. The dolly vastly improves the ease and speed of manual handling operations and runs until 31st May, with customers urged to place their orders early to avoid disappointment.”
