The new packaging and design to launch nationwide from July 

This July, Pip & Nut will introduce custom made glass jars across its entire product range, currently in fully recyclable 30% RPET jars. The move, which supports the brand’s commitment to sustainability and their B-Corp promise of ‘better business’, offers improved recyclability due to glass being more widely recycled here in the UK.

The jars, which are made from a minimum 50% recycled glass, have a fully recyclable label, lollipop and lid.  Not only that, the team has developed a bespoke embossed jar to encourage customers to use them time and time again.

As well as moving to glass, the jars also boast a brand new look created in partnership with the agency Made Thought, known for their sustainability led design, and the independent Argentinian illustrator Bernardo Henning, who has brought the flavours to life on pack.

Whilst the packaging has been redesigned, the Pip & Nut products remain unchanged and are made to the same delicious recipes, which feature the highest quality natural ingredients, such as Single Origin High-Oleic peanuts and Californian almonds. The brand, which is a Great Taste Award Winning Producer, also continues in its commitment to having absolutely no palm oil across the entire range and in 2020 alone avoided the use of over 35 million tonnes.

Founder Pip Murray says: “This project has been over two years in the making and we’re so excited to see it come to life.  We always listen closely to what our consumers want and they clearly asked for us to move to glass and so we are delighted that day is finally here.  As a brand we have promised our community that we’ll always deliver on Better Nuts, Better Taste, Better Business and this packaging relaunch underlines our commitment to this third pillar and to our overall goal of making nut butter better.” 

Following the move into glass, the brand is now furthering their B-Corp promise of ‘better business’ by working on their commitment to setting science based targets in 2021 to reduce their carbon emissions and align to Net Zero.

The Pip & Nut glass jars, Peanut SKUs, RRP: £3.00 / 300g, Almond SKUs, RRP. £3.25 / 170g will be available online at from 5th July.  The range will then roll out across retailers from 21st July onwards.
