UK based drinks manufacturer, Clearly Drinks has announced its fun and fruity new prime-time TV advert to re-launch Perfectly Clear, its flavoured water brand, part of its biggest brand announcement in many years. 

In a bid to target families across the UK, the advert invites children and grown-ups to dive into a fun, colourful watery world. The Perfectly Clear bottle is transformed into a fruit-filled waterslide which is bursting with berries, the refreshing water sweeps you off your feet and you’re off, swirling on your fruity inflatable through a torrent of flavour. The whole experience is designed to be just as refreshing and exciting as taking a hit of fruit when you drink a bottle of Perfectly Clear.

Perfectly Clear has set its sights on further establishing itself as a clear alternative in the flavoured water category after its relaunch in February 2020 with a new fruitier product and distinct visual identity.The new range containsa strong hit of fruity flavour with zero sugarand has relaunched with new and improved favourites such as summer fruits, strawberry and lemon and lime as well as brand-new flavours orange and mango and peach and apricot, sold in 330ml, 500ml and 1.5 litre bottles.

The adverts, by creative agency Ponderosa, can be spotted on screen during high traffic programmes including ITV’s good morning Britain and high profile kids’ sky programmes such as Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam and Ben and Holly – among a host of other popular programming slots.

Adam Irwin, Strategy Director at Leeds based Ponderosa said, “The insight driving the ad is that sense of compromise mums feel when trying to keep the family hydrated. Soft drinks are often full of sugar. Water is really good for us, but it’s a bit boring. With delicious fruit flavour and zero sugar, the ad presents Perfectly Clear as the ideal way to keep the whole family happy and hydrated.

“Transforming the bottle into a watery flume where you can ride on berry inflatables, with fruity spring water and berry clouds whizzing by, demonstrates the hydrating benefits of drinking Perfectly Clear as well as the fruit filled fun you might otherwise expect from a sugary soft drink.”

The advert will air in the UK on Monday 1stJune.
