After the success of the Patty&Bun DIY kits, which were at the forefront of the DIY ‘at home’ movement when Covid hit, Patty&Bun are now launching 2 products into Ocado. They will initially offer two products, bringing their P&B cult flavours to a wider audience, including the ‘Ari Gold’ kit (for 2) which Time Out voted best DIY kit 2020 and a pack of 2 Patty&Bun secret blend patties.
Patty&Bun founder Joe Grossmann has said “at the beginning, the DIY kits were there to support the eco system of our suppliers and stay engaged and relevant with our fans. As things evolved through the past 18 months since we launched the kits, it was clear that we had created a product and experience that people really loved and took ownership of.
Equally, the ability to reach new customers and fans outside of the catchment of our existing restaurants was incredibly exciting, experiencing the brand in a whole new format but with the same love and quality ingredients we put into each restaurant. We wanted to use our existing platform to springboard into retail where we can bring the P&B experience to a wider audience and so excited to be launching with Ocado to do this…!”
The kits will be available to buy on Ocado from 9th September. The ‘Ari Gold’ kit will be priced at £15 and the pack of 2 Patty&Bun secret blend patties will be available for £5.99.
