Garofalo pasta was once again a main sponsor of Salone Del Gusto in 2012, working with UK Masterchef finalist Sara Danesin to produce a series of short films about the event.
The sponsorship continues the premium pastaCompany’s close collaboration with Slow Food and food experts and bloggers from around the world.
The films featuring Sara Danesin will be shown on the Company’s website, YouTube and on their international Facebook pages. They will show the rich menu of activities and special events offered by Garofalo to all visitors to the famous Turin show.
Special events included the launch of the new Pasta Garofalo Gluten-free line, due to be launched in the UK early 2013.
Sara says: “It was a great honour to be asked to visit Salone Del Gusto on behalf of Garofalo and great fun interviewing the people behind the brand, meeting the many visitors, talking to all the Chefs and food bloggers and tasting the delicious food. For an Italian food lover it was heaven, I hope to inspire people to visit the next show with my films which will give a little taste of my time at Salone”.
Garofalo works closely with the ever increasing world of food bloggers, especially with the project “Gente del Fud”, a network that has become a point of reference for all food lovers. The best Italian Food Bloggers provide information sheets, a selection of some of the best Italian produce and a large selection of delicious recipes.
More than 150 bloggers attended the show for Garofalo; many were involved in the cooking demonstrations for this uniquely authentic pasta Company.
Garofalo is also involved with the enhancement and recovery of ancient culinary traditions. One of the other gastronomical projects includes the sponsorship of a new trainingschool for chefs directed by Chef Niko Romito, who was also at Salone Del Gusto and interviewed on film by Sara Danesin.
