Frozen warehousing specialists Partner Logistics have been awarded with a special recognition accolade at the launch of the SHD Logistics awards in central London.
They were also finalists in two other categories: the Best Operations (SME) award and the Environment/ Sustainability award alongside other finalists including Jaguar Land Rover and Sainsbury’s.
In presenting their award, Peter Macleod, editor of SHD Logistics Magazine said: “The submission from Partner Logistics caught my eye from the moment it was submitted. It was clear that the Environment/Sustainability category of the SHD Logistics Awards was going to be the most hotly contested of the ten Awards categories, and Partner Logistics came in with a very compelling story.
A facility that uses 50% less energy than the ECSLA’s best standard is a real attention-grabber. From my perspective, companies taking such initiatives deserve great recognition, and I was delighted to be able to put Partner Logistics’ name on the Editor’s Choice trophy at the first-ever SHD Logistics Awards.”

This is the first year of the SHD Logistics awards and it has been launched to recognise and reward the very best companies within the logistics and supply chain sectors. This year’s event took place at the Park Lane Hotel in central London on the 20th March.
