Partner Logistics, a European leader in automated frozen food warehousing and distribution, has announced a record-breaking year for its European network of fourteen warehouses.

The company saw over 5.5 million pallet movements during 2011 across its network which includes three warehouses in the UK and the remaining eleven in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Russia. Collectively, Partner Logistics has a storage capacity of 680,000 pallets, making it the largest provider of frozen food warehousing in Europe.

Partner Logistics also hit record volumes for the first quarter of 2012, with over 1.7 million pallet movements or an average of more than 18,000 pallet each day.

Speaking of the numbers, Mike Young, head of UK Sales and Marketing at Partner Logistics, said: “We are very pleased to see 30% year-on-year growth across our established European network of warehouses. We have seen a steady increase in clients who require a European network capable of delivering a full end-to-end solution, reducing cost and improving quality.”

“We continue to expand our network with our fifteenth European site and first to be built in Germany on-track to open in January 2013,” he added.
