On Sunday 26th April 2026, nine One Stop colleagues united to run the 2026 TCS London Marathon. With £93,000 raised between them, they put their all dedication and months of training into action to cross the line at the world-famous marathon.

All nine One Stop colleagues pushed through the pain and exhaustion, with the help from the cheers of the crowds as well as knowing the phenomenal £93,000 they have raised for multiple charity partners including Alzheimer’s Society, Children in Need and Young Lives vs Cancer, and how it will make a difference to many lives.

Davina Woollery, a store designer at One Stop took part in the adrenaline filled day and solely raised an incredible £8,785.84 for Alzheimer’s Society!

Davinia said: “I’m so proud to have been able to run this year’s London Marathon for Alzheimer’s Society in memory of my partner’s grandma, who we sadly lost on Boxing Day 2024.

“Watching her slip away was heartbreaking and this marathon was my way of honouring her as well as being able to support others who are facing dementia.”

Ruairi Balloch, who works in Business Support and Ben Pease, a store colleague also powered through the exhilarating experience and jointly raised an enormous £18,132.42 for Children in Need!

Children In Need has been one of One Stop’s charity partners since 2012 supporting-disadvantaged children and young people. Money raised helps to fund projects and initiatives across the country to help improve the lives of children facing a range of challenges such as poverty, trauma, disability or illness.

BBC Children in Need expressed their appreciation for the One Stop colleagues who took part. Tess Herbert, BBC Children in Need Co-chief Campaigns and Engagement Officer said: “On behalf of us all at BBC Children in Need, thank you to Ben and Ruairi for taking on such a huge challenge, we’re so grateful to them for their support and all of the hard work they’ve put in. The money they’ve raised means we can continue to be there for children across the UK when they need us most.”

Six colleagues from One Stop stores across the country, including Stuart Evans, Amy Fisher, Tom Williamson, Nem Gladwell, Tom Coates and Joshua Selby, came together with determination and passion, turning months of training into a powerful celebration on race day after raising a whopping £66, 624.42 for Young Lives vs Cancer!

Young Lives vs Cancer has been one of One Stop’s charity partners since 2022. The charity aims to support young cancer patients and their families to receive the right necessary support throughout their cancer journey.

Nilesh Patel, Partnerships Fundraiser at Young Lives vs Cancer commented: “Completing the London Marathon is an incredible achievement in itself but doing it to support young people with cancer makes it even more special. We can’t thank the One Stop runners and everyone who donated enough for their generosity and hard work. This phenomenal fundraising effort will allow our specialist social workers to continue providing free support to families when they need it most.”

Jack Taylor, Community and Partnerships Manager at One Stop commented: “We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible colleagues who took on this year’s TCS London Marathon! It was a tough, relentless day but they all showed unbelievable determination, and powered their way across the finish line, all while raising outstanding totals for causes that will truly change lives. They are absolute heroes!”
