Following its success in the US, international gourmet coffee company, Marley Coffee founded by Bob Marley’s son, Rohan, has just launched in the UK with ambitious plans to distribute across Continental Europe.
Adopting the ITAL standard, Rastafari for all things Pure, True and Vital, Marley Coffee focuses on organic coffee with the initial launch of three premium organic blends and one single origin coffee:
Jamaica Blue Mountain (227 grams net weight) medium roast ground coffee. Admired for its delicate balance of floral aroma, acidity and full body.
Marley Coffee One Love Organic Coffee Blend (227 grams net weight) – medium roast ground coffee. Full of floral notes revealing hints of blueberry, cocoa and spice.
Marley Coffee Buffalo Soldier Organic Coffee Blend (227 grams net weight) – dark roast ground coffee. Roasted sweet, this earthy blend is sultry, smoky and deliciously smooth.
Lively Up! Organic Coffee Blend (227 grams net weight) – espresso roast ground coffee. Lively Up! is an exquisite espresso blend that is a full-bodied yet well-balanced coffee offering hints of cocoa, candied fruit and sweet caramel.
A proportion of all profits from Marley Coffee UK will be given to support Kicks for Cause, a foundation that aims to build playable soccer fields and soccer camps for children of the coffee-producing communities around the world. Marley Coffee UK is also a supporter of the One Love Foundation.
Representing Marley Coffee UK, Guy Wilmot, Operations Manager at Blue Mountain Coffee (Europe) Limited, the principal importer and representative of Jamaica Blue Mountain in Europe, explains, “It has been our ambition to work with Marley Coffee since we first heard in Jamaica that a new coffee company was being founded by Rohan Marley. We wanted to represent Marley Coffee much in the same way as we represent the Jamaican coffee industry – as trusted partners who could bring to Europe Rohan Marley’s dream of producing amazing organic coffee blends, in keeping with his goal of producing ethical coffees inspired by his reggae heritage and beliefs.
We’ll also be hitting the road with a branded Marley Coffee Piaggio Coffee Cart with the aim of showcasing our coffees at music festivals and events throughout the UK, including the One Love Reggae Festival and the Notting Hill Carnival.”
Marley Coffee strongly welcomes potential new partners interested in retailing or distributing Marley Coffee in the UK, Europe, Russia, the Middle East or even further afield. For further details regarding distribution opportunities email: email@example.com
