Launching in February is a loveable range of Disney’s Mickey and Minnie baby products. The designs reflect the retro look which is set to remain a top trend in 2010, bringing a sense of nostalgia and comfort to our contemporary world.
The range is completely BPA free, in line with NUK’s entire baby care range, and the BDHF-approved bottles feature Mickey and Minnie as they appeared over 80 years ago in a striking red, white and black design, while the soothers focus on Mickey.
The Disney Collection provides a complete feeding system through to weaning featuring the NUK First Choice Feeding Bottle with silicone teats in size 2 and NUK First Choice Learner Bottle with silicone non-spill spout. The range includes NUK orthodontic Soothers (silicone-made baglet available in size1; for 0 to 6 months and size 2; for 6 to 18 months).
The Mickey and Minnie Collection bottles are available in a choice of cherry red or graphite with matching soothers: 300ml PP Bottle £5.99, Learner PP Bottle £5.79 and Soothers £3.90. The 300ml Bottle has a size 2 teat.
NUK has been at the forefront of innovative baby care ideas for over 50 years thanks to its scientific and ethical approach to product development. All its orthodontic teats and soothers are specially formulated and the only brand to carry an endorsement by the British Dental Health Foundation for encouraging healthy oral development.
The orthodontic teat has an extra-wide base which features the NUK Anti-colic vent system. This vent equalises negative pressure inside the bottle and reduces the swallowing of air (may cause colic) which builds as a baby feeds. Together with the orthodontic shape, NUK simulates breastfeeding as closely as possible. The bottles have an extra wide neck, making it even easier to fill and clean.
Following consumer concerns over the chemical Bisphenol-A, NUK has made the decision to re-launch its entire range as BPA free making it the only baby brand in the UK to do so.
