Today, Ben & Jerry’s introduces two new flavours, the new flavour fandango, Bohemian Raspberry and the bakery-inspired ice cream extravaganza, Brookies & Cream Sundae.
In celebration of music royalty Queen, on the 50th anniversary of their legendary track Bohemian Rhapsody, new flavour Bohemian Raspberry is a delicious harmony of vanilla Non-Dairy ice cream, fudgy brownies and raspberry swirls. Music and ice cream lovers, grab your spoons because this one’s for you!
Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Gurus have created this flavour that hits every note, so that scoop after scoop, you won’t want to miss a single lick! Bohemian Raspberry returns to centre stage as a Non-Dairy flavour, made with the new-and-improved oat-based Non-Dairy recipe, which is smoother than you ever thought possible.
The second flavour launch is the innovative NEW Brookies & Cream Sundae. This delight is inspired by the delicious collision of two of Ben & Jerry’s favourite things, brownies and cookies coming together to make a brookie. Move over cronut, Ben & Jerry’s are bringing the ultimate bakery mashup to ice cream for the very first time.
Ben & Jerry’s believes some things are sweeter together. That’s why the ice cream innovator’s Flavour Gurus have created Brookies & Cream Sundae; a sweet harmony of creamy vanilla ice cream with brownie-style dough and golden cookie swirls topped with chocolate whipped ice cream, sea salt chocolate swirls, and white ampersand chunks. This brookie lover’s ice cream dream brings together two stars of the baking world – much loved by fans already – and combines them with ice cream, meaning brownie, cookie and ice cream lovers no longer need to choose.
Joao Piva Flavour Guru at Ben & Jerry’s comments on the Bohemian Raspberry partnership: “We first launched Bohemian Raspberry flavour back in 2007 after a fan reached out with the suggestion. We thought what could be more rock ‘n’ roll than bringing this partnership flavour back to celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the world’s most loved songs, Bohemian Rhapsody! So grab your spoon and dig in – and we encourage your scoop doubling up as a microphone!”
Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Guru, Gabby Simmons, said of the Brookies & Cream Sundae: “Bakery mashups are the perfect sweet treat when you simply can’t choose between two of your favourites. And as you know, cookies & brownies are two of our absolute favourites, so it was a no brainer for us to combine the flavour combo with what we do best – ice cream! My favourite way to enjoy a tub of Brookies & Cream Sundae is to dig straight in but if you’re want to double down on your dessert moment, a fresh out of the oven brookie, topped with a scoop or two of Brookies & Cream Sundae is hard to beat! *Chef’s kiss*”
Like all Ben & Jerry’s flavours, these two are packed full of values-led ingredients, with both flavours featuring Fairtrade certified sugar, cocoa and vanilla.
Brookies & Cream Sundae is also made from free grazed dairy, whereas Bohemian Raspberry is the latest Non Dairy tub made using Ben & Jerry’s oat-base recipe
Proceeds from Bohemian Raspberry go to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, an organization founded in memory of rock legend and lead singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury, to fund the global fight against AIDS.
