Safe & affordable option for both YAG and Fibre laser marking applications including automotive, aircraft, electronics, jewellery, ID cards and security tags
Allen Coding Systems – one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of industrial coding & marking systems – is proud to announce that it is now supplying Macsa’s new iLaserbox all-in-one laser marking workstation.
The compact, affordable system is easy to set-up and to use, and allows both YAG and fibre lasers to be operated safely to Class 1 standard. Designed for used in low volume, semi-manual laser-marking applications for a range of metals and plastics, such as automotive parts, aircraft components, electronics, jewellery, ID cards and security tags, the iLaserbox allows companies wishing to user lasers to do so safely.
The compact workstation takes up limited space so can be incorporated easily into a production line, workshop or laboratory. It is also fully equipped with an on-board computer and built-in touch-screen controller, and can be programmed and operated as a stand-alone device, so there is no need for connection to an external PC.
The iLaserbox workstation operates with NANO and other YAG and fibre lasers such as the iCON Series laser coder, a cost-effective alternative to continuous inkjet printers, and the NANO industrial laser, an all-in-one alternative to more expensive systems. When supplied with an iLaserbox, these coders are fully automated plug and play Class 1 laser marking systems.
Two sizes of the iLaserbox are available, each in a choice of automatic – whereby the door opens immediately after each print – or manual models. The iLaserbox 460 C measures 481.5 x 630 x 860mm, weighs 90kg and is compatible with NANO, iCON and K1010 and K1030 Series lasers.
The iLaserbox 480 R is the larger version for working on higher volumes of products, is also available in a choice of automatic or manual models, and measures 481.5 x 825 x 860mm, weighs 120kg and is compatible with the complete Macsa range.
Other features of the iLaserbox include an LED status indicator to inform the user when the system is ready to print, in progress or unable to print because the door is open.
Focal distance adjustment allows control of the motorised axis for each individual part, to ensure maximum accuracy.
