Customers of supermarket giant Waitrose are smelling sweeter thanks to a range of scented soap bars produced in the UK by a well known manufacturer. The range consists of eight different scented soap bars including Camomile, Cinnamon, Ginger Clementine, Green Tea Apple, Lemon Blossom Amber, Olive Jojoba, Sea Salt Kelp and Sweet Plum Mimosa.
Needing a responsive packaging supplier who could keep pace with the high level of production needed to satisfy in0store demand, they turned to Yorkshire based film specialists National Flexible, who were more than happy to help.
“Our strategy of offering real added value means that we actively take steps to reduce lead times and costs to our customers,” said National Flexible’s Sales & Marketing Director George Slack. “Our capacity for handling bulk quantities of BOPP films meant that we were well placed to fulfil the packaging obligations for Waitrose,” he continued.
National Flexible were able to print, slit and deliver the finished flow-wrap film in only a matter of days so that the product could be packed in time to meet the in-store launch date. Products are currently on sale in all Waitrose stores.
