The household goods market, which continued to thrive during 2014, was hit with a newcomer this year. SNG Commercial Ltd launched its new high-performance, low-cost Muvo range at the end of 2013 and it has gone from strength to strength.

Following the success of its first product lines, Muvo Laundry Liquids, the company developed and launched its Muvo Power Capsule range in September 2014, closely followed by its all-in-one dishwasher tablets with soluble film.

With 45 lines across laundry and dishwashing, Muvo is now stocked in more than 1000 discount retail sites nationwide and is selling tens of thousands of units every week.

All Muvo products are created with the same philosophy, to deliver consumers with high quality, cost effective alternatives to the big brand leaders, always focusing on performance and value.

Simon Gunter, Managing Director of SNG Commercial Ltd, said: “Laundry categories in the retail and convenience environment, outside of the major multiples, have typically been made up of big higher priced brands and then the inferior quality, cheaper alternatives. There was an obvious gap for a premium quality product at an industry leading price point and this has been further demonstrated by the exceptional response and demand for our products from both retailers and consumers.”

SNG Commercial Ltd recently secured significant investment which will enable the company to accelerate its growth plans for the year ahead. Gunter said: “The new investment will help us to achieve our ambitious targets for 2015 to expand the number of stockists, increase our sales and launch several new lines.”

The new lines, which will include Muvo Professional and Senses ‘Pure’ Fabric Conditioner among others, will be supported by a fully integrated marketing strategy including in-store promotion, advertising, PR and social media.

All Muvo products are in line with the company’s Planet Wise Promise, ‘to deliver big results without big consequences’, from recyclable packaging that maximises its space to high-performing products that allow consumers to achieve great results even on economy programmes and short cycles.
