Leading RYO accessories supplier Republic Technologies (UK) Limited is unveiling another major music promotion for ZIG-ZAG rolling papers, giving millions of fans unprecedented, behind-the-scenes access into the lives of top music talent.


In a sales-boosting campaign that runs from May to mid-September, The ‘ZIG-ZAG Rolling With…’ promotion will engage over 5 million people, generating highest ever levels of brand awareness.

Rolling With… will focus on two bands, Grammy award-winning La Roux and the Welsh rock band, Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Music fans will be given unrivalled access via social media to the artists’ life on tour, away from the media spotlight, plus behind-the-scenes footage of songs recorded in different locations.

“ZIG-ZAG likes to originate and this is a first for the RYO sector,” says Eleni Koulara, Republic Technologies (UK) Limited Marketing Manager.

“We know that roll-your-own fans are heavily into music and are confident that they will relish the chance of getting up close and personal with artists who will be giving them unprecedented access to what life is really like on the road.”

Rolling-With-logoThe ‘Roll With…’ campaign will include behind-the-scenes video footage, interviews on how the artists adapt to living and writing on the road, video footage of live performances and a live event featuring both artists at the end of  the campaign.

Both music artists will promote ‘Rolling With…’ across numerous social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, reaching an estimated 5 million fans in the process.

In addition, all video footage and other social media assets will feature on the specially-created ZIG-ZAG website, www.proudtobedifferent.co.uk, which will be boosted by a wide-ranging digital media campaign with leading social and music media partners.
