Scandinavian Tobacco Group UK is pleased to announce the introduction of a ‘United Kingdom’ themed limited-edition pack for its Henri Wintermans Half Corona cigars, which is available to retailers now. The new pack features a ‘dressed up’ Mr Wintermans, with a top hat, umbrella and bow tie in eye-catching union jack livery.
The Henri Wintermans Half Corona is easily the UK’s best-selling medium / large cigar and has experienced a particularly good sales performance this summer. In the last year alone, it has increased its volume market share from 71.8% to 76% of all medium / large cigars sold, with an annual sales value of just under £15m.
STG’s UK Country Director, Alastair Williams, says: “With sales up and summertime still here, we’ve dressed Mr Wintermans up to add a distinctive talking point to the gantry with this United Kingdom Limited Edition. Probably down to the good weather and the fact that people have had more time on their hands recently, we’ve seen demand rocket for the Half Corona since the Spring, so I would really encourage retailers to stock this limited edition product and enjoy those extra sales if they can.”
