New 120ml format brings extra value to the Tesco Express Meal Deal, alongside a new listing for the 420ml Ginger Dosing Bottle
MOJU, the UK’s number one functional shots brand¹, is turning up the heat on the Meal Deal fixture.
Following strong growth in Tesco Main Estate over the past year, with MOJU bringing 222k new shoppers into Tesco functional shots, 67% of its customer base, proving highly incremental,² MOJU is expanding its presence across the Tesco estate, with over 3,000 new stocking points in Tesco Express with two format extensions of its original Ginger Shot.
MOJU is expanding into Tesco Express with the launch of its new Ginger Double Shot, another category first innovation from the brand, rolling out in over 1,500 stores. Set to disrupt the food to go fixture, the 120ml format brings greater value to the Meal Deal, while expanding MOJU’s role in the lunch and afternoon occasions.
Packing two doses of MOJU’s original cold-pressed ginger shot into one 120ml format, Double Shot is designed to maximise value for money within the Meal Deal, while giving busy, health-conscious shoppers a healthier lunchtime choice, and helping bring even more shoppers into the Functional Shots category.
Research shows 75% of shoppers want healthier options within their Meal Deal³ with demand focused on choices with less sugar and greater nutritional value. Double Shot answers this directly: powered by two 60ml nutrient-rich hits of fresh root ginger, for a naturally functional health boost that powers shoppers through lunch and works harder across the afternoon.

The launch comes as MOJU also expands the footprint of its best-selling 420ml Ginger Dosing Bottle, which is rolling out into 1,500 Tesco Express stores from 12th October.
Double Shot follows a series of additions to the MOJU range in September, as the brand continues to expand its category offering through format and flavour-led innovation.
